August Mission Focus

AEVIDUM

Throughout August

The word “Aevidum” means “I’ve got your back” and was created by students after they lost a classmate to suicide. Blue Mountain, Schuylkill Haven Area, and Pottsville Area schools sponsor Aevidum clubs that adopt cultures of care and support for students and staff. The mission of these groups is to shatter the silence surrounding mental health issues and suicide. Your monetary donation will be combined with a distribution from our Endowment Benevolent Fund to support the work of Aevidum in our schools.
