We invite you
to worship with us!
-
PARKING - A small parking lot is located next to the church. Ample on-street parking can be found on East Main Street and Dock Street. Parking is also available (Sunday mornings only) in the parking lot at Suglia's Restaurant. Both parking lots are accessed by turning from Dock Street onto River Street, which runs behind the church building.
-
ENTERING THE CHURCH - You may use either entrance doors on the front of the building. Once inside, you will find a friendly greeter who will direct you to the Sanctuary, which is located on Level Two. If you need the elevator, they will assist you. Restrooms are located on the Ground Level.
-
ENTERING THE SANCTUARY - An usher will give you a worship bulletin to guide you through the service. Children's activity bags are also available. Offering plates are located on a stand inside each Sanctuary entrance.
-
DURING THE SERVICE - Please be mindful that the service is being recorded for those who are viewing online. If we are celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion, the elements (bread and wine/juice) will be distributed by the ushers. The Mite Family Room is available in the rear of the Sanctuary for those who have difficulty sitting for longer periods of time.
-
LEAVING THE SANCTUARY - At the end of the service, you may exit using either of the stairwells. If you need the elevator, an usher will assist you.
A NOTE
FROM PASTOR KEVIN
April 2024
Just mailed out my taxes. I recognize the importance of working together to support our great nation and I mail them with the pride of being a citizen of these United States. I celebrate the gift and responsibility of paying my fair share.
And it happens to be required by law. I have to pay my taxes.
There is no choice.
.
It is a choice to support your church. God does not “audit”, at least by human standards. No one stands at the door of the church and asks you if you have paid your way in. Supporting your church is your choice.
Some of you give in the midst of your financial struggles. You understand what it means to give out of your first fruits because there is not much left over. Some of you give out of your abundant blessings, sharing out of the many gifts that you have received.
In our church, there is no such thing as giving your “fair share.” You give as you are able. We join our resources together, ask God to bless them and multiply them, and do our best to spread the Word of hope and promise. But you are not forced to give.
It is your choice.
The mission of your church is to spread the great Good News of our Risen Savior to the community and to the wider world. Thank you for participating in this amazing adventure. We can guide people into a life-saving relationship with Jesus Christ because YOU decided to help make a difference.
Thanks!
Pastor Kevin
