Text Box: Christian Education At Saint John’s Church we are committed to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Classes meet every Sunday at 10:15am. For Adults Adult Bible Study Group - Fellowship Hall Alternative Adult Group - Chapel Women’s Bible Class - Conference Room For Teens Confirmation - Mite Room Teen Discussion Group - Mite Room For Kids Preschool - Classroom #105-#106 Elementary - Classroom #103-#104 Pre-Confirmation - Classroom #103-#104 Other Opportunities Bible Study is an integral part of our educational program. Our study group meets every Wednesday @ 9:30am in the Conference Room. The Spring 2012 session will begin meeting in March. Confirmation Classes classes begin each September for all youth 12 years of age or entering 7th grade. Older persons wishing to be confirmed are also welcome at Saint John’s and may contact the Pastor for more information. Vacation Bible School is held annually in June. Children from the community are welcome to join us for VBS! The Media / Resource Center for the church is located to Room #102 and contains books, videos, and other materials to assist in religious education. The Schuylkill Association also maintains a resource center at First UCC, just outside of Schuylkill Haven. The John Kutz Scholarship is presented to a qualifying high school graduate who is a member of Saint John’s and planning to continue his or her education. Specific requirements and applications are available by contacting the church office.
